I offer a space that is welcoming, warm and confidential, where your difficulties are given time, understood, and taken seriously.

My offerings use effective therapies adapted to your needs, providing an approach that works with the wisdom of the mind, the heart and the body. The therapeutic processes resource you to do the work. They are gentle enough to meet your pain sensitively, and encouraging enough to take the steps you need to make real and meaningful changes in your life.

I bring my curiosity, respect, and a genuine wish to support you. I am here on your invitation and don’t take that for granted. I will not be shocked, offended or judgmental about what you bring. I understand this is all part of being human, and I want to help you move towards a place of more understanding, more ease, and more confidence in yourself.

Perhaps most importantly, I bring my humanity. I am a person, a human being like you. I’m not an AI chatbot that can never know how it feels to be human, to struggle and suffer. I know what it means to recover a sense of integrity and embodied wellbeing after times of great difficulty. I do this work because I want to help you find your way to that too.

Individual psychotherapy

Psychotherapy with me is an embodied, relational and reflective process that is also practical and experiential. I am guided by you and your goals, and support you to turn your wise attention towards the parts of you that need understanding and care. I aim to help you learn about your mind and find the inner resources that keep you steady and present during the ups and downs of life.

Interested in mindfulness training?

I also offer therapist-assisted mindfulness training: a one to one, extended and expanded approach tailored to your particular learning needs. Particularly suited to people who want to learn mindfulness but need more individual support than group formats allow, and more help working with the challenges of the practice.
